For more than a decade, Dr. Ducey-Clark has been helping people reconnect with their bodies and achieve optimal wellness. She specializes in Sports and Repetitive Stress injuries, and her superior skill set has earned her respect within both the chiropractic and medical communities. Her introduction to the field of chiropractic came when she experienced a life-threatening car accident at age 20. Working through her own pain and healing through chiropractic treatment made her a believer in the power of this beneficial health care approach.
She received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic West and has a sports injury background. She also has advanced training in prenatal care, pediatrics, sports injuries, automobile injuries, nutrition, peripheral nerve entrapments, spinal injuries, worker compensation injuries, nutrition and pain management.
Dr. Ducey-Clark completed a clinical internship at the office of Dr. Jan Corwin, DC, in California. Dr. Corwin was the first chiropractor to break through the sports medicine arena and become officially aligned with the U.S. Olympic team.
Dr. Ducey-Clark began working with both amateur and professional athletes during her internship that strongly influenced cultivation of her own style of treatment, which she is known for today. She then practiced with another doctor in California before moving to Colorado and taking over the Falling Leaves (formerly 1st Avenue Chiropractic) in 2000.
Dr. Ducey-Clark is known for her superior diagnostic skills, quality of care and knowledge of the human body. She embraces chiropractic, allopathic, eastern and holistic healing philosophies. She firmly believes that her fusion approach to healthcare, provides multiple avenues to best assist her patients. Her truly unique treatment style utilizes a variety of techniques addressing muscular, skeletal and nervous systems dysfunctions. She works with patients with a range of different issues from shoulder injuries to those who suffer from herniated disc disease. She is a member of the esteemed Medical Advisory Board for Dani’s Foundation, supporting the search to finding the cure for Ewing’s Sarcoma.
Dr. Ducey-Clark prides herself on empowering people and helping them connect to their bodies so they can maintain optimal health. She loves to see her patients ridding themselves of pain or discomfort in their lives. In treating patients, she does whatever she can to assist them physically and mentally in getting to where they want to be with their body. She believes “True Health” should be defined by the patient. She will then assist that patient in achieving just that.
She is a preferred provider with United Healthcare, Pacificare, Great West, GE Wellness Plan, Health Allies, Reserve National, Medical Resource, Med Risk, Aetna Workers Comp and Universal Smart Comp. She accepts most major medical PPO Insurance Plans, but she does not accept Medicare.
